Module Descriptions

The iStudy modules are designed to work from within ANGEL. To see the content of each module, click the title below, however, the quizzes, surveys, and "My Notes" tool will not function outside of ANGEL. Modules import quickly and easily into existing ANGEL courses and groups.

Although Penn State retains copyright ownership, permission is granted to users to make changes to the content of the modules to suit their needs and to share the modules with others as long as credit is given to the original developers. The correct wording for the credit statement is found at the bottom of the first file in each module.

Instructor's Guide

Test Anxiety
Instructor's Guide
Generally, we all experience some level of nervousness or tension before tests or other important events in our lives. The term "test anxiety" refers to the emotional, physical, and cognitive reactions that some students have to exams. This module suggests ways to manage your anxiety as well as suggestions and tips applicable to anyone who takes exams.

Time Management

Whatever your expectations for the "total" college experience, planning and sequencing activities is important to your success. This module suggests ways to manage your responsibilities and activities.

Writing and the College Experience
Instructor's Guide
By working on an autobiography you can practice important writing skills and perform self-assessment and self-reflection. Learn more about yourself and your style of learning through this module.

Written Reports
Instructor's Guide
This module provides basic knowledge about preparing written reports. It is intended to be used as a guide when you are faced with the task of a writing a paper or a report.

If you would like to use all or most of the modules, add all of the modules to your course or group, then delete modules you don't want.

Download this file to your computer, then upload it into an ANGEL group or course using the 6.2 Import Wizard. This file contains all of the iStudy modules. Upload the .zip file (not the decompressed files).
